Our mission
The SVEF is dedicated to excellence in pre-kindergarten--12th grade education. We leverage financial capital and community resources to make sure every student graduates from our schools ready for college, career, and civic responsibility.
Each day 4,600 students attend class here in the valley and it is our purpose to help each and every students find success and inspiration in school so they graduate well prepared for both college ad a career. We support our schools by funding excellent programs aimed at raising students achievement and creating a generation of students who love to learn.
A brief history
SVEF was founded in 1993 by a group of concerned parents and community leaders. Since that time SVEF has invested over $4 million dollars into the schools. We currently fund programs in Science, Art, School Gardens and Teacher Support and Pre school.
